Description
The 36th Contracting Squadron at Andersen AFB Guam intends to award a purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for purchase of two rugged easily deployable video teleconferencing packages, four extra battery packs and extended two year warranty. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F1C0RH8043A002 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This solicitation is100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS in accordance with FAR Part 19. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423410, size standard 500 employees. The contractor shall provide the following supplies: two Rugged Deployable Video Conferencing Systems. Boardroom quality VTC in a self-contained battle proven package incorporating the leading edge Tandberg 6000 MXP Codec and top quality display and audio components. Bandwidth up to 4 Mbps IP (6 Mbps in Multisite), 2 Mbps ISDN Up to 6 video and 5 audio sites with MultiSite Option. Shock isolated CODEC and Display for shock and vibration protection. Selectable AC or DC input power supply. High quality sunlight readable (1200 nits) 15" LCD. High quality tethered Sony Pan Tilt Zoom camera with far end control. High quality tethered Audiotechnics microphone. High resolution remote controlled camera. High quality microphone and speaker. ½ Hour or 1 Hour battery pack option. Inmarsat satellite terminals/service available. Mil-Spec, also must provide four extra battery packs, an extended two year warranty, includes also two shipping cases for easy mobility. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations. Offerors must provide brochures/literature of the items being offered (if applicable) along with their quote. The technical literature submitted needs to clearly communicate that the offeror understands the minimum requirements and compliance issues as set forth in the RFQ. Discussions may or may not be held with offeror; therefore, the initial proposal of each offeror should be complete and accurate. FOB destination is required by the Government. FOB point is Andersen AFB, Guam. Please include shipping prices via commercial shipping directly to Guam as well as shipping to Tracy, CA. The required delivery date is 30 days ADC. Offerors must provide warranty information specific to all equipment as well as provide all materials, labor, and transportation necessary to provide this supply.
