Description

Luke AFB proposes to award a sole-source contract to General Dynamics, C4 Systems for the following items in support of the 107th ACS bedown at Luke AFB, Arizona: 5 each, UHF receiver assembly: CM-300-UR; NSN 5840-01-505-7137; GD P/N 01-P40100G001; unit comes with by-passable co-location filter, rails, operations manual, AC/DC power cables, RF interconnect cables, DB-9 MDT interface connectors; fits in a 19 inch rack; radio install requires maintenance data terminal software P/N 99-P40681G and remote interface cable, P/N 30-P40237G001; power supply A/C 120V, 60 HZ; 5 each, UHF 50 watt transmitter assembly; CM-350-UT; NSN 6030-01-505-7163; GD P/N 01-P40200G001; unit comes with by-passable co-location filter, ratils, operations manual; AC/DC power cables; RF interconnect cables; DB-9 MDT interface connectors; fits in a 19 inch rack; radio install required maintenance data terminal software P/N 99-P40681G and a DB-15 remote interface cable P/N 30-P40237G001; power supply A/C 120V 50/50HZ; 1 each Software package MDT, cm-300/350, DG P/N 99-P40681G; and 1 each interface cable, CM-300/350, GD P/N 30-P40237G001. Basis of justification: The Cm-300/350 radios from General Dynamics were selected based on the recommendations of the lead engineer, Radio and Force Protection Systems, HQ 38 EIG/GCE as part of the 607th/107th ACS Co-location Support Radio Survey Report. These radios were selected based on their FAA approval for Air Traffic COntrol and high reliablity (fielded MTBF 200,000 hours, Rated MTBF 26,280 hours). These specific items integrate with the existing FAA architecture, which is an essential minimum requirement.
