Description
THE RUSHFORD REHABILITATION PROJECT, RUSHFORD, MINNESOTTA consists of restoration of permanent flood control features for the City of Rushford that were damaged due to a major flood event in August of 2007. Work includes restoration of eroded areas adjacent to and within the Rush Creek Channel, removal and disposal of sediment and riprap that accumulated within the Rush Creek channel, the dry run, along riverward levee slopes, and at pipe outfalls, preparing the designated sediment disposal site for sediment placement, placement of sediment, and finishing the site after sediment has been placed; restoration of sub reaches of levees to the design elevations; topsoil and seeding where required; designing and constructing a road raise where it crosses the levee; replacement of damaged doors and door frames at the pump and lift stations, and replacement of a damaged vent pipe within the levee prism. THIS PROCURMENT IS ISSUED UNRESTRICTED under the SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVE DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM (Public Law 100-656). The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the small business size standard (Heavy Engineering and Construction) is $31.0 million. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. It is anticipated that the plans and specifications will be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov on or around 15 May 08. Any changes to this date will be posted on this website.
