- US Customs and Border Protection has several locations throughout the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach that do not have restroom facilities, specifically the Radiation Portal Monitoring System sites. The awarded Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, and labor necessary for the rental, maintenance, and weekly on-site servicing of portable toilet units. See Bid Schedule on pages 5 and 6 of Solicitation for quantity of units and locations. Quotations are being requested via the relating solicitation that has been uploaded at this website, RFQ HSBP1008Q1727. This is an RFQ issued in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-24) AND THE Department of Homeland Security Acquisition Regulations (HSAR). It is the responsibility of the offeror/Quoter to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This RFQ will be issued through this Government Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov). Future information about this acquisition including amendments to this procurement requirement will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The Government intends to award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose quotation conforming to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government, lowest price being considered. Responses will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price. NOTE: Offerors/Quoters must be registered at www.ccr.gov with a status of “ACTIVE” in order to be eligible for award and must be in compliance with the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Standards. All rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act. The Contractor shall comply with all local, State of California and Federal Environmental Protection Agency rules, regulations, laws and any other legal requirements for the protection of the environment. Transportation and disposal of all wastes, chemicals and other materials used/encountered in the performance of this contract shall be in accordance with this requirement. Disposal of waste material shall be only at an approved waste disposal facility of the Contractor’s choosing.
