Description
The solicitation number for this effort has been changed from 4QBO57088003 to 4QBO17088003. The General Services Administration (Region 4 Assisted Acquistion Services Division) contemplates issuing a solicitation for non-personal services for the CBRND/CS Division and JEAP Support for the United States Marine Corps, Marine Corps Logistics Command, Program Support Center, CBRND / CS Division / JEAP Code P704, 814 Radford Blvd, Suite 20240, Albany, GA 31704-0320. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract is contemplated. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 May 2008. The proposed contract will be for a basic contract period of one year with four one-year option periods. The scope of this task includes engineering, technical, program management, warehouse operations, facilities operations and management, logistics, and administrative support to the DIR CBRND/CS Division and JEAP initiatives. The areas of support include: CBRND Equipment Assessment; Equipment Calibration; Contamination Avoidance; Individual and Collective Protection; Decontamination; Consequence Management, Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF), Retail Surveillance of the Joint CBRND Assets; Collection, Assessment, Storage and Disposal of Excess CBRND IPE; Operational Support of the Worldwide CSP, CIF and CSF Facilities and Administrative, acquisition, technical, logistics and program management support to the Program Support Center?s various divisions to include, Enterprise Integration, GT&ES and C4I. It is anticipated that these requirements will increase throughout the performance period of this contract, including options. Therefore, all participating contractors should know the Government reserves the right to increase requirements under this task order without further competition after initial evaluation process is done. However, before any increase in requirements is made, a scope determination will be done. Potential surge growth is expected to be at 40% each year for the duration of the contract. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 5.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes only the synopsis as the solicitation will be issued at a later date as stated above.
