- NAVSEA Indian Head Division has a requirement for the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV) for the development, training, and logistic support of a Future Radiographic System (FRS). This requirement is being procured full and open with a 10% HubZone price evaluation preference. Approximate release date of this solicitation is 20 May 2008. The anticipated requirement is seeking to modify a pre-existing commercially available (Modified Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (MCTOS)) portable radiographic system to safely perform diagnostics on unknown devices of interest in war, peacetime, and in Military Operations Other Than War (MOOTW). Award will be based on best value utilizing a tradeoff process. The FSC code is 5860, the NAICS is 334517, and the size standard is 500 employees. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable.
