Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD, St Inigoes Annex, Air Traffic control Systems Division has a requirement for Ruggedized Panel Mount Keyboards. The associated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334419 with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government intends to award a contract on a “sole source” basis for the Rugged Panel Mount Keyboards – Sun Type 5 Interface and USB Interface under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Contract type will be Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract line items for a period of one base year and four option years. Cortron Incorporated, 1 Aegan Drive, Methuen MA 01844-1560 is the sole manufacturer of this equipment. The equipment is required to support the Shipboard AN/TPX-42A(V)14 Shipboard ATC System. The Rugged Panel Mount Keyboard from Cortron is the only equipment that has been identified capable of meeting the government’s minimum requirement. The Keyboards will be used in the OD-220/TPX-42A(V) Display Component of the AN?TPX-42A(V)14 Shipboard ATC System. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The required delivery time is 6 weeks after receipt of delivery order. FOB Destination to Receiving Officer, NAWCAD, Bldg 8115, Villa Road, St. Inigoes, MD 20684-0010. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
