- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation/synopsis reference number is W912JF08T0007 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Contractors may request a copy of the combined synopsis/solicitation with any attachments (i.e. menus, wage determination) on or after the issue date from the contact below. This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. Proposed contract is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Contractor shall provide temporary cooks, food servers, and dining room attendants in support of the 142nd FA annual training dates of 16 May 2008 through 31 May 2008. Annual training will be performed at Fort Chaffee Maneuver Training Center, Ft. Smith Arkansas. Contractor will provide support to existing military cooks and personnel working on site. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the Contractors employees performing services under this contract. Such employees shall be accountable not to the Government, but solely to the Contractor, who in turn is responsible to the Government. Contractor will assist in the food service operations for approximately six hundred (600) soldiers twice a day, Breakfast and Dinner. Contactor shall provide support for two eight-hour shifts per day for the 16-day period. Contractor will provide a minimum of three (3) cooks and nine (9) nine dinning room attendants/servers per shift. Shift times will be 4:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. beginning on 17 May 2008. Contractor shall provide personnel for one shift (7:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m.) on 16 May 2008 for walk-thru and set-up for the first meal. Clean-up and closing of facility will be completed by 5:00 p.m. on 31 May 2008. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work.
