- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division (NUWC) Keyport WA requires 18 each data acquisition modules conforming to Apix part number DSP-32-STD4A-Plus. Due to only one known prior vendor source on for these data acquisition modules and NUWC urgent requirement to replace existing modules, this requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Apix Inc, Orlando, FL. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Delivery is required before 14 June 2008. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 8-days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 simplified commercial acquisition procedures. The RFQ is posted electronically on www.fbo.gov. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. The solicitation package is available for download at www.fbo.gov 5 May 2008. Award will be made on, or about 14 May 2008. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov ).
