- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. Offerors are encouraged to access information also available on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm.NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for the NRE and delivery of 2 each certification units and production of MK-74 TARTAR-D Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs) and solenoids that meet the requirements of Naval Ordnance System Command drawing 2667058 and associated documents as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Included in the SOW are requirements for specification development, certification, configuration management, quality assurance, testing, reviews and program management. Two contract line numbers are anticipated as follows: 1.CLIN 0001- Non-recurring expense (NRE) and the delivery of two certification TWTs for requirements verification. Quantity 1 lot.2.CLIN 0002- Production units resulting from the certification of CLIN 0001, minimum quantity 0, maximum quantity 40. The Government anticipates award of a non-commercial, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for a period of five years with minimum and maximum ordering quantities as specified above. Anticipated delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC Crane Division, Crane, IN 47522. Inspection and acceptance with be at destination. Solicitation N00164-08-R-GR11 will be issued on a full and open competition basis. RFP will be available for download at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm on or about 14 May 2008. Closing date will be on or about 30 June 2008. FAR Part 12 procedures will not be utilized as it has been determined the items being procured are non-commercial. All offers must be in the English language and must be in U.S. dollars. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards from the DOD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) in Philadelphia, PA. It is the responsibility of Offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered.
