THIS CONTRACT WILL NOT AWARD UNTIL FY08 FUNDS AREAVAILABLE.PR Number(s): FD20300870019Item: 0001NSN: 4810015355593RK VALVE, BUTTERFLYP/N: 739207B, Description: Overall dimensions: Length 5.0". Width 6.60" max. Height13.13". Port Diameter 5.0 ". Maximum Weight 12.3 lbs. The back-uppressure regulator is an actuator-controlled valve consisting of anactuator assembly, a valve assembly, and an electromagnetic pulse (EMP)cable assembly. The actuator assembly consists of a rolling diaphragm/piston actuator and servo air pressure regulator/relief valve. Both thepilot valve and the servo air pressure regulator are adjusted by asetscrew and nut combination. A pressure test port is incorporated inthe pilot valve assembly. The valve assembly consists of a matched setof butterfly discs which are contained within the valve assembly. TheEMP cable assembly consists of a cable, cable connectors, a positionswitch, and the attaching hardware. The EMP cable assembly is connectedto the actuator assembly.Total Line Item Qty: 25.00 Destn: FB2039,Tinker AFB,OK.,73145-9013. NOTE: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation ofoffers, the final contract award decision may be based upon acombination of price and past performance factors as detailed in thesolicitation. Request for Written Quotation will be issued. The anticipated award datewill be 60 days after the issuance of this notice.The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limitednumber of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested personsmay identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirementor submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fortyfive-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basicordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not tocompete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Information receivedwill normally be considered solely for the purpose of determiningwhether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested insubcontracting opportunities in connection with the describedprocurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement describedare incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by theGovernment. See Note(s) 12 and 26.
