- SSCSD intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) in association with theattached draft SOW. The Government requires contractor support to conduct an educationaltechnology exposition that will provide for the exchange of information betweenSPAWAR Systems Center San Diego (SSCSD) personnel and representativesfrom industry on the latest trends in emerging C4ISR technologies. The scopeof this work shall include planning, promoting, and executing the technologyexposition. The exposition will be located at SSCSD, Building A-33, in theConference Center and Cloud Room. This event is designed to providepersonnel with a convenient opportunity to observe the latest technologies ofinterest to SSCSD and to provide companies a cost and time effective forum todemonstrate their capabilities. SSCSD will share information on their needs andinformation on pertinent issues in the C4ISR arena. The hours of the exposition will be between the hours of 0930-1400 hours (local time), on the 18th, 19th, and 20th days of August, 2008 Questions may be directed to David W. Jenkins at david.w.jenkins@navy.mil The RFP will only be available electronically on the Space and Naval WarfareSystems Command E-Commerce Web Page at https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil under SSC San Diego - Open Solicitations. Anyamendments, when issued, will also be available only on this web site. Mattersposted on the web site are not terms of the RFP unless the RFP is written oramended to include such matters. FIRMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THEWEB SITE REGULARLY FOR UPDATED INFORMATION. Issuance of the RFP isestimated for 22 May 2008.
