- The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) hereby publicizes its intention of soliciting sources for one (1) Part-time Athletic Medical Trainer at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii for the upcoming tackle football season. The period of performance is from 8 September 2008 to 8 December 2008. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classifications System code (NAICS) is 621999, and the small business size standard is $9.0 million. The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order. Detailed specifications and requirement information will be included in Request for Quote (RFQ) Number M00318-08-T-0185. The RFQ is scheduled to be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 13 May 2008. The RFQ can also be downloaded from the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website. Click on the URL provided below, click "Business Opportunities", enter M0031808T0185. NECO URL is https://www.neco.navy.mil. Quotations are due no later than 16 June 2008, 8:00AM Hawaii Standard Time, and to be received either via fax at 808-257-2350 or e-mail at vivian.fukumitsu@usmc.mil. The unit price is an all inclusive cost which is to include travel, fringe benefits, federal, state and local taxes, plus all other costs pertinent to the performance of this purchase order. The anticipated award date will be on or about 23 June 2008. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency where the unit price is an all inclusive cost which is to include travel, fringe benefits, federal, state and local taxes, plus all other costs pertinent to the performance of this purchase order. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, considering technical qualification and price.
