- Description
- This is a notice of intent to issue a contract for personal medical services required to man and operate a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Clinic at Fort Benning, GA. Travel to other facilities throughout the Southeast to assist with soldier processing, screening and treatment and for training is possible. This acquisition will be a total 8(a) certifed small business set-aside. Only companies with current certifications will be considered for this competitive acquisition. The following is a description of the supplies and services required. CLIN 0001 - Medical Support Personnel for Fort Benning TBI Clinic, to include: 1 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Physician, 1 FTE Physical Therapist, 1 FTE Neuropsychologist, 1 FTE Psychiatrist and 1 FTE Neurologist. CLIN 0002 is for travel to support the teams mission as stated above. This contract may include incentives and reimbursement of relocation expenses to aid in recruiting prospective providers. The Government intends to award a commercial firm fixed-price contract with performance incentives with a base period of performance of 15 August 2008 through 14 August 2009 with four annual options that could extend performance through 14 August 2013. All respopnsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. The request for proposal shall be posted to the FEBBIZOPS website on or about 22 May 2008.
