- REQUEST FOR QUOTE: This RFQ is 100% Set aside for small Business in accordance with FAR 19.502-2(a). For additional information please see the clause at 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (June 2003) Enclosed trailer for flightline maintainers. 8 ft 6 inches wide, 17 ft 10inches long, 9 feet high enclosed double axle trailer with 30x30 inch sliding window front corner up high. 36 inch x6 ft RV style side door with 15 inch x 30 inch window, rear ramp door and rear jack stands, interior mount spare tire, 3/4 inch plywood walls & floor, walls & ceiling finished in white vinyl with insulation, floor & ramp door finished with spray on bed liner. Work bench & overhead shelf in front of trailer. 2 roof vents with Max Air covers, 3ea 12 volt dome light on ceiling with wall switch, 3 ea 12 volt dome lights under overhead shelf with wall switch. 1 12volt battery with box wired to dome lights. 2ea 110 volt 4 ft fluorescent lights on ceiling with wall switch, 1ea 110 volt 4 ft fluorescent light under the overhead shelf with wall switch. 2 ea 110 volt outlets over work bench, 1ea 110 volt exterior GFCI receptacle. 2 ea 4' electric baseboard heaters. 30 amp breaker panel with life-line. 110 volt to 12 volt converter. A-frame tool box on tongue. Trailer has extra height to allow for increased interior height. Submit design layout with quote. Price and Delivery time will be a consideration for award. QTY 4 EA. The WA ANG has identified the above requirements and is respectfully requesting GSA Terms (if available) to include FOB Destination pricing be submitted no later than11:00 AM Local Pacific Time,14 May 08 if you are interested in this opportunity. Offers received that are based on Open Market terms are set-aside for small business IAW FAR Part 19 QUESTIONS FOR THIS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING SO ANSWERS CAN BE OBTAINED AND POSTED TO AN AMENDMENT. Funds arepresently available for the items contained in this RFQ.The government reserves the right to make multiple awards to the offeror (s) which represent the best value to the government without further discussions. Where brand names are identified, it is for your reference to show items are available as meeting the minimum requirements of the government and in no way are intended to imply a brand name requirement. Offers submitted based on suitable substitutes must be accompanied by supporting information to validate their status as suitable subs. Offeror(s) submitting with substitute items lacking the supporting documentation will be deemed to be non-responsive to the requirements of this solicitation and will not be considered for award (See Below). 52.211-6 BRAND NAME OR EQUAL (AUG 1999) (a) If an item in this solicitation is identified as brand name or equal, the purchase description reflects the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government's needs. The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that equal products must meet are specified in the solicitation. (b) To be considered for award, offers of equal products, including equal products of the brand name manufacturer, must-- (1) Meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in this solicitation; (2) Clearly identify the item by-- (i) Brand name, if any; and (ii) Make or model number; (3) Include descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings, or a clear reference to previously furnished descriptive data or information available to the Contracting Officer; and (4) Clearly describe any modifications the offeror plans to make in a product to make it conform to the solicitation requirements. Mark any descriptive material to clearly show the modifications. (c) The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. (d) Unless the offeror clearly indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an equal product, the offeror shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation.
