Description

This will be a firm fixed-price acquisition for various initial commercial spare parts associated with the Dowty R-391 Propeller from the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This is a sole source acquisition, due to unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), GE Aviation Systems (DBA: Dowty Propellers), 114 Powers Court, Sterling VA. The synopsis and solicitation will be combined. DESCRIPTION: Propeller spare parts applicable to the C-130J aircraft. The response date is 8 June 2008. An estimated award date is 20 June 08. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. SEE NOTE: 22
