Description: The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Sontek YSI in San Diego, California for Sontek SL 1500 1.5 MHz side looking real time accoustic Doppler current meter with multi cell capability including 10 meter power and RS/232/SD1-12communication cable; and Sontek Argonaut-SW 3.0 MHZ system with 2-D up-looking real time accoustic Doppler current meter includes 10 meter power and RS232/SD1-12 communication cable to be delivered to Stennis Space Center, MS by 06/13/2008. Sontek YSI is the only known source for this requirement because it will provide a continuity of equipment and standardization of repair parts to an existing infrastructure. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: strevino@usgs.gov.
