- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation; will not be issued. Solicitation number M67854-08-Q-1096 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. The NAICS code is 332992, and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees per the Small Business Administration. This procurement is a small business set aside. Overview of the Requirement: MARCORSYSCOM has a requirement for two (2) types of ammunition. Line Item 0001: Description: Brand name: Eley TENEX, Ultimate Semi Auto.22 caliber, Long Rifle, Quantity: 85,000 rounds. Line Item 0002: Description: Brand name: Federal,.45 Auto Match W/C 185 grain, product # FGM45B, Quantity: 20,000 rounds. Delivery to: Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA 22134, complete address to be provided on the award. Format for Quote: Offeror is to include all four parts. Part I: Pricing: the offeror shall provide a price for each line item: Shipping cost to be included in the price, Grand total for all above Part II: Delivery time frame (provide estimated delivery time). Partial delivery is acceptable; award may be made on available quantities on hand. Part III: The name, title, telephone number, fax number and email address of the point of contact. Part IV: The nine-digit DUNS and the nine-digit TIN. DUNS is used to verify that the vendor is in CCR and a small business for the 332992 NAICS code. The Taxpayer Identification Number is necessary for electronic payment. Evaluation Factors: The Government intends to award a fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose offer confirming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, availability and other factors considered. This requirement will be a fixed price contract. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by MARCORSYSCOM. Offerors shall provide completed copies of FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.225-7000 or online representations and certification application (ORCA) record with their quote. Offerors are required to provide their Contractors DUNS Number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code with their quote. The CAGE code entered must be for that name and address provided by the Contractor. Offerors must be registered prior to receiving an award for this solicitation or for any future awards. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. The closing date for this solicitation is 19 May 2008 at 1300 hr (1:00 PM) EST.
