- This synopsis is used for 45 TON HYDRAULIC AXLE JACK, NSN: 1730-00-965-5744, Part Number 5923-010. This item is a 45 ton, cantilever style hydraulic landing gear jack. Self contained Tee shaped base used to lift loads of 45 Tons vertically. Drawings are available. QUANTITY: BASIC YEAR: 1 FIRST ARTICLE (CONTRACTOR TESTING WITH DATA REQUIRED AND PRODUCTION QUANTITY FOR 1-7 EACH). This will also contain four out year option periods for 1-7 each year. A First Article (FA) is required with contractor inspection, FA test plan and report. Options may be exercised for AF (Air Force) or FMS (Foreign Military Sales) requirements. Assets will be shipped FOB origin to multiple CONUS locations for AF requirements and for FMS requirements it will require FOB Origin with destinations to be cited. Size/Dimensions (approx): Length 82 inches, Width 80 inches, Extended Height 22.5 inches, Collapsed Height 4.5 inches, Hydraulic Lift 18 inches, Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or around 24 Mar 2008 with response due 25 Apr 2008. Delivery is 180 days ARO for FA and 80 days for production items after award. The RFQ will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requests will be honored and no hard copies will be mailed out. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments /revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor will be acceptable.
