- This requirement is for the procurement of Hydraulic Tripod Jacks, NSN: 1730-00-997-7130RN, P/N: 8261-010, which are used to support maintenance activity on multiple airframes.Material: Various First Article Qty: 1 EA; Production Qty: 52 EA; Option I Qty: 1-25 EA; Option II Qty: 1-25 EA; Option III Qty: 1-25 EA; Option IV Qty: 1-25 EA. One each First Article (FA) will be required from any source that has not provided the exact item to the United States Air Force during the last 48 months. Delivery schedule: 270 Days ARO. Multiple shipping locations are involved. The approximate issue date of solicitation is 9 MAy 2008 with approximate response date of 9 June 2008. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. To request a copy of this solicitation, go to http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Technical data (manufacturing drawing package) is available for this acquisition. Offerors are strongly encouraged to review their data for accuracy as soon as possible. The extent of foreign participation has not yet been determined. MOU country sources must contact the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days of the date of this synopsis notice to receive a copy of the solicitation at the time it is initially issued. Issuance of the solicitation will not be delayed to review requests from MOU country sources received after 15 days or from non-MOU country sources. Nothing in this notice contradicts other restrictions, identified in the synopsis notice or solicitation, regarding eligible sources (e.g., if this is a small-business set-aside, foreign sources may not participate as potential prime contractors but could, if otherwise eligible, participate as subcontractors). All questions regarding the solicitation and/or the data package must be submitted in writing to Kathy.Canady@robins.af.mil. No telephonic questions. All questions and answers will be uploaded to http://www.fedbizopps.gov ; however, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of quote. Offers will be evaluated based on price and past performance. The Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) program will be utilized in the evaluation of past performance. Evaluation may also include input from the cognizant DCMA Administrative Contracting Officer/Industrial Specialist and/or through conduct of a Pre-Award Survey. See Numbered Notes 1, 8, and 26.
