- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services in Santurce, Puerto. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on August 1, 2008 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on July 31, 2013. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 110: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 20 inmates = 20 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 110 = 2640 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 110 = 7920 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 12 = 144; Mental Health (MH) Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 12 inmates; Individual MH Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x12 = 144 units; Group MH Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 12 = 144 units; Intensive Outpatient Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 12 = 144 units; Medication Monitoring 1 unit per inmate for 20 inmates = 20 units; Psychiatric Evaluation (one per inmate) for 25 inmates = 25 Evaluations; Psychotropic Medication as prescribed per inmate for 25 inmates = 25 units. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated June 2007. The request for quotation will be available on or after May 16, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov.
