- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) entitled “Developing More Effective Strategies for Interconceptional Care”. The primary purpose of this proposed contract is to develop and implement effective evidence based practices where possible for interconception care and care coordination models for women at high medical and social risk. The contractor must have the necessary experience and expertise to (1) collect the necessary information to develop intensive evidence-based interconception care and care coordination models for women at high medical and social risk; (2) implement the learning collaborative meetings which include bringing together local teams from each of the participating Healthy Start sites; and (3) analyze and report on the data and processes on a HRSA designed website throughout the collaborative learning period. The anticipated period of performance is a twelve (12) month base year and two (2) twelve (12) month option years for a total of thirty-six (36) months. This is a new requirement and is a full and open competitive acquisition which will result in a cost reimbursement type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541611 “Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services” and the small business size in dollars is $6.5M.
