Description

This sources sought has been modified/amended to revise the point of contact. The point of contact is Monique Klose at monique.klose@navy.mil. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport Division is hereby conducting a market survey of all potential sources of ruggedized and militarized computing systems to support the running of Navigation and Situational Awareness (SA) software packages for Air Cushioned Vehicles (ACV). The intended use for the information is to assess advances in technology since the design of the current Navy Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) in the 1970s in order to develop system capabilities for future ACV craft. The information provided will assist NUWC Keyport in understanding the technologies available to conduct SA functions. The Government is only looking at computing systems utilizing current technology available in the open market. Both 19 rack mount and bulkhead mounted solutions will be accepted. This market survey shall in no way bind the Government to offer contracts to responding companies. See attachment for detailed information and format for submitting responses. NUWC Keyport requests your responses by 10:00 am (PST) on 30 May 2008. Submissions will be accepted after this date, but feedback may not be as timely or contribute to NUWC Keyports strategic planning. Information should be e-mailed to Monique.Klose@navy.mil.
