- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management, National Interagency Fire Center has a requirement for 200 ea 6,000 lb working capacity Cargo Nets. The cargo nets are used to contain an external load and suspend it beneath a helicopter to transport material in and around wildland fire scenes as well as in support of other natural resource improvement projects. Firm, fixed-price offers shall be requested under Request for Quotations (RFQ) No. RAQ084008 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation package will be posted on or about May 14, 2008, thereafter, the full solicitation package may be accessed via link to this synopsis at www.fedbizopps.gov, or directly at http://ideas.nbc.gov. Quotes shall be due no later than close of business May 27, 2008. This is a total Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code is 314991 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Prospective offerors must be registered, and must maintain an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration database found at http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications must be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov or a completed copy of FAR 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items must be submitted with the quote.
