Description
The Government intends to award a Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contract with firm fixed prices in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5. The contractor shall provide packing, crating, drayage of household goods as required by Naval Air Station (NAS), Personal Property Division, Patuxent River, MD. The area of performance consists of: Saint Marys and Calvert Country. This is a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 484210. Solicitation N00189-08-T-0290 is for a base period with four additional one-year option periods. The period of performance is from 1 July 2008 through 30 June 2009 plus four one-year option periods. The solicitation shall be issued on or around 28 May 2008. Potential offerors shall be located within 50 miles of the area of performance specified above. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil.
