- The Military Sealift Fleet Support Command has a requirement for the upcoming Regular Overhaul (ROH) for the USNS FLINT (T-AE 32). The period of performance for this requirement is to commence 1 October 2008 for a period of fifty-five (55) days. The area of consideration is the U.S. West Coast, Hawaii, and Guam. This procurement is a small business set-aside for MSRA holders. Major work items include: -Dry-Dock UW Hull Inspections & Preservation -ABS Surveys: Dry Docking Survey, Intermediate Hull Survey 8, Tailshaft Survey, Cargo Gear Survey -Rudder and Stern Tube Shaft Seals Renew -Number 3 SSTG turbine renewal -Tanks and Boiler Stacks cleaning, repairs and preservation -Miscellaneous Weather Deck & Bulwark repairs and preservation throughout the vessel -Miscellaneous HVAC Vent Ducting and Weather Deck Terminus Repairs throughout the vessel -Side Shell Longitudinals, Frames, Sea Chests and Structure repairs & preservation in Bilges -Repairs and preservation of the Main Mast -UNREP Equipment foundation bolts renew & HP air flasks 5-year survey and recertification Only written (regular mail or Fed-Ex) requests will be accepted. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 28 May 2008 with an estiamted closing date of 3 July 2008.
