- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR POTENTIAL 8(A), SDVOSB, HUBZONE OR SMALL BUSINESS COMPETETIVE SET-ASIDE, N4008308R0084.Market Research is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 14 and 15 to determine if a sufficient number of capable firms are available to set aside this project for Secured Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering Facility at Crane, Indiana. The intent of this sources sought notice is to identify potential Section 8(a), HUBZone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Small Business offerors capable of design and construction of a Secured Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering Facility at Crane, Indiana. It is the intent and objective of the Government to obtain the design and construction of a two-story, steel-framed 58, 117 s.f. permanent addition building with masonry walls, concrete floor and foundation. Function areas include engineering areas with high security project capability, and a secured engineering area. High security engineering and secure engineering laboratory areas will support multiple projects requiring secure communications mediate. The addition will have conference rooms, restrooms, break room, and mechanical rooms. Special features will include secured lab spaces, fire protection systems, and information systems. Special security features include hardened walls, intrusion detection systems and surveillance equipment. Supporting facilities include special features for: security controlled lab spaces, mechanical utilities (heat, ventilation, and air conditioning), site utilities (water, telephone, electrical, natural gas, sanitary and storm sewers, and local area network), information systems, fire protection, and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection. Paving and site improvements include vehicle parking area and roadways, sidewalks, landscaping and grading.
