- Address: This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplement by additional information included in this notice and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.202-1 Definitions; FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.212-1 This announcement construes the only solicitation; No written proposal being requested on HM157608T0039 will be issued., NGA intends to issue a Non-Personal Service award for the ODE Multicultural Conference. Proposed price offered the Government must be within GSA Domestic Pre Diem rates. Offerors consider shall be within the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Bethesda, MD. NAICS code 721110. Projected scope consists of the following NGA requirements; this notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The period of performance is scheduled for 16 June 2008. Award is anticipated 15 days after publication of this notice. Responses received within this time frame will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government of the award of proposed contract is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice., Project requirements are as follows: Location in the Washington DC Metropolitan area with full service dining on site. Availability for 2.5 meeting days for three sleeping nights during the week of 16 June 2008. Use of business center or small room to be used as an office. Prefer hotel with complimentary shuttle service, but not required. Free or reduced parking rate for conference attendees. Overnight accommodations for 50 to 75 attendees. ADA compliant facility, including accessible guest rooms and guest rooms equipped for Deaf/hard of hearing guest. General session ballroom to accommodate 200 participants in crescent round seating. Stage with podium and table for panel presentations. Five breakout rooms that may include general session room in the count. Easel for poster paper, full services A-V including dedicated project manager for the event. Catering to include continental breakfast, buffet lunch and afternoon snack; if an evening session is held, appropriate light fare, The Government seeks contractor with conference center/hotel that provides adequate meeting space, the necessary block of sleeping rooms, catering and meeting support to satisfy the requests listed. Dates are flexible to the extent the 2.5 day conference takes place during the week of 16 June 20008, with participants arriving night before Day1 of the conference and departing on Day 3, the half-day., The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and\ Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.202-1 Definitions; FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (fill in as follows: Best Value, Technical, Delivery, Price and Past Performance. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their quotations in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Submission of offers shall include the following: (1) photos and specifications for each item quoted that demonstrates the ability to meet specifications, (2) number of days delivery after receipt of order (ARO): the desired delivery date is 16 June 2008; (3) three past performance references (no more than 3 years old;(4) cost: all pricing quoted shall be FOB Destination. The basis for award is best value with relevant and Satisfactory past performance references. The criteria for evaluation are: (1) Technical capability of the services offered to meet the Government requirement. To be Technically Acceptable, the services shall be currently approved for use by NGA. (2) Delivery: Contractor has offered the best price and meets the required scheduled (s) for all requested items, (3) Price: Contractor has offered FOB Destination pricing for all items quoted. (4) Past Performance. Technical, delivery and past performance when combined, are significantly more important than price. OFFERS SHALL COMPLY WITH BUY AMERICAN ACT (FAR 25.001) AND THE BERRY AMENDMENT (DFARS 252.225-7002).
