The Contractor shall provide and maintain a fully-furnished mobile MRI unit, to include all related supplies, equipment, and personnel, to provide MRI services at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, Monday through Friday, 0800 through 2000 hours, and Saturday, 0800 through 1200 hours. A single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract is anticipated to be issued on a full and open competitive basis, under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The solicitation will be for a base period of performance beginning on or about 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009, with four (4) one-year renewal option periods. It is anticipated that a Request for Proposal (RFP) for this requirement will be posted at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (www.neco.navy.mil) on or about 27 May 2008, with the closing date for the receipt of offers to be set forth in the RFP. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors shall be required to submit both technical and cost proposals.
