Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912LD-08-T-0085 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This combined synopsis/solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2007-27. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Business. NAICS is 811310 and business size standard is $6.5mil. The Rhode Island Air National Guard, 143 AW Base Contracting Office intends to enter into a contract for the purchase and installation of a new Industrial Rotary Screw Air Compressor; the purchase and installation of a 400 Gallon Vertical Tank; and the removal and disposal of an existing Ingersoll-Rand Type 40 Model 251 BKV Compressor, to include training for Government Personnel (approx. 1 or 2) for the purpose of understanding the mechanical operations of the compressor. CLIN 0001 - The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, material, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to furnish and install one (1) each, heavy duty, single stage rotary screw air compressor direct-driven by a flange mounted 75HP, 1175 RPM, 460volt, three phase, ODP EPAct efficient ODP motor and mounted on a steel base plate, minimum demand of 325CFM @ 125 psi (Sullivan Palateck Model H75UDG or equal); CLIN 0002 - Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, material, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to Furnish and Install one (1) new 400 Gallon Vertical Tank, 36 Inch diameter x 93 inches high; CLIN 0003 Contractor shall remove and legally dispose off-site existing (1 ea) industrial air compressor Ingersoll Rand Type 40 Model 251 BKV; CLIN 0004 - Contractor shall remove and legally dispose off-site existing 400 Gallon Vertical Tank (1 ea), 36 Inch diameter x 93 inches high.
