Description

The Directorate of Contracting, Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), 5 South Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for maintenance and repair of DRS Technologies Remote Sensor Camera Systems installed on various Combined Test Force (CTF) AFFTC programs, to include Technical Support; Maintenance and Repair, System Integration, and Training. See attached Performance Work Statement. Period of performance for this effort is 1 Oct 08 through 30 Sep 2013 The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Sources that believe they have the capability under this requirement may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified Government point of contact no later than 4 p.m. local time, on 30 May 2008. Such capabilities and qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
