- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Heavy Equipment Rental) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). RFQ # M67399-08-Q-0029 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18. This is an unrestricted purchase. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532412. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 7353. The small business size standard is 500 EMP. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-C9.The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is W025. This solicitation is for the rental of heavy equipment for the purpose of maintaining all range support roads, all live fire target areas, bunkers, and impact areas. The equipment for CLIN 0001 through CLIN 0004 will be leased from June 30, 2008 to September 30, 2008. The end-user has requested that all equipment wheels will have 50% of tire tread wear or better, and all cabs must be enclosed with air conditioner (AC) units. The end-user is also looking for a flat rate vice hourly rate. Items will be delivered to Bldg 2155 to and then escorted to the Rifle Range aboard Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command Twenty-nine Palms, CA. The following Intel the size and the quantity of what is needed: CLIN 0001- Qty: 1: 160H Road Grader w/AC, rippers, and enclosed cab; tires must have 50% tread wear remaining or betterCLIN 0002 - Qty: 1: Equivalent to CAT 966G Front End Loader w/AC, combo 4 and one bucket, enclosed cab; tires must have 50% tread wear remaining or betterCLIN 0003- Qty: 1: 35-40 Ton Articulated Rock Dump w/AC, ARI; tires must have 50% tread wear remaining or betterCLIN 0004- Qty: 1: 8000 Gallon Articulated Water truck w/fire hose attachment, hose, and fire hydrate rate wrench, tires must have 50% tread wear remaining or betterCLIN 0005- Qty: 1: Delivery and Pickup Charge Place of contract delivery will be Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC) Twentynine Palms, CA. The winner of this award is required to be registered with, understand, and invoice through Wide Area Workflow.
