- US Army Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&L LCMC)is conducting Market Research for support services to encompass a broad range of technology areas, operational areas, training and end item commodities. In conjunction with the PEO Soldier Systems and the SOCOM PEO for Special programs, ARDEC is currently investigating the generation, propagation, and interaction of various target effects produced from advanced weapons, munitions and energy technologies to meet the full spectrum of special mission needs. Experience with Special Mission Units (SMU), their requirements process, and a functional knowledge of Training Tactics & Procedures (TTP) as applied to SMU operations is necessary for execution of the work requirements under anticipated efforts. The contractor will serve as liaison to the U.S. Army Special Forces by maintaining a working presence at FT. Bragg and visiting other key Special Forces locations to accomplish statement of work tasking. Work efforts and training would require performance up to and including the TOP SECRET level. The planned effort is a Service Disabled Veteran Small Businesses (SDVSB) set-aside. Interested SDVSB firms who believe that they are capable of providing those services that meet or exceed the capabilities as delineated herein are invited to indicate their interest by providing company name, address, Cage code, Duns number, POC w/ phone number and email address, business size, and business status. Interested firms shall provide a written description of its previous government contracts (all prime and major subcontracts received during the last 3 years) which are in any way similar to the effort delineated herein. The description shall include the following information: Contract Number(s) including: (a) Government contracting activity, address, and telephone number, (b) Procuring Contracting Officers name w/ phone number and email address, (c) Government contracting activity technical representative/COR w/ phone number and email address (d) Government Contract Administration activity, including the name of the Administration Contracting Officer w/ phone number and email address, (e) Contract type (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, etc.), (f) Award price/cost, (g) Final, or projected final, price/cost, (h) Original delivery schedule, (i) Final, or projected final delivery date. This announcement is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an invitation for bids or a request for proposal, it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this announcement. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this announcement.
