Description
Question & Answer 1. Do you have an anticipated start date for the Part-time Distance Learning Technician? ANSWER: We would like the contractor to start as soon as the contract is awarded. We are willing to work with the contractor to establish a later start date if required. 2. Item C in the SOW, Schedule of Work states that the Technician shall work five days per week, unless modified by the ESO, for approximately five hours per day between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Can we safely assume that the Technician will generally average no less than 25 hours a week or are there frequent circumstances (excluding holidays, base closures, emergencies, etc.) when the technician might average less than 25 hours weekly for an extended period of time? ANSWER: The standard schedule is five hours a day for five days a week. There is some modest flexibility as to the start time. We want to work with the contractor to find a daily start time that satisfies both the needs of the Learning Center and those of the contractor. 3. We assume that following contract award the Part-Time Distance Learning Technician will be able to obtain a CAC card to facilitate entry to the base and access to the base computer network? ANSWER: Previous contractors have been authorized a CAC on the basis of the Learning Center contract. I would expect that to continue. The contractor must have access to the base LAN and that requires a CAC.
