- 1. I just came across your RFP for website consultancy and would love to entertain your proposal; however, Lightmaker is an international company that works with high-end, upscale web development site. It is asked that you share with us your budget constraints so we will have a better idea if this project can be pursued by us or better passed on to another of our sister partners. 1. Answer: The estimated amount for a base and two options is $25,000.00 for the entire contract. 2. Does this system currently exist? 2. Answer: Yes 3. Is there an incumbent contractor? 3. Answer: Yes, Research Research Limited, London, England. 4. Are the Funding Opportunities, Sponsors, and new databases in existence? Where are they stored? Can information on their size, type (SQL, Oracle, etc.), structure, etc. be provided? 4. Answer: All of the funding opportunities are identified and posted by the existing research funding database contractor. We currently have a searchable web-based research funding database and we do not want another one developed. We are seeking offers from companies who have the product(s) immediately ready for purchase. 5. Is the intent for the USUHS to be able to provide opportunities for others, or for those at USUHS to have a means for determining what is available to them? 5. Answer: The intent is for those at USU to have a means for determining what is available to them. 6. Should we assume we, the contractor, will host the website on machines at our facility? Are there technical specifications available for this RFP? 6. Answer: Yes. The contractor does host the website.
