- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager for Ammunition intends to issue a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a five (5) year IDIQ, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the purpose of procuring non-developmental Signaling Colored Smoke Grenades. The solicitation, M67854-08-R-1063, is expected to be posted in the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2008. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 332993, Ammunition (Except Small Arms) Manufacturing. The five (5) required colors are: Green, Yellow, Red, Violet, and White. The grenades will be used for ground-to-air or ground-to-ground Signaling / Screening. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DoD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). The solicitation will require online certifications and representations (ORCA), http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may make the offeror ineligible for award. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate by full and open competition under authority of FAR Part 15. This notice expires 05 June 2008, and is not a request for competitive proposals. Written questions will be taken once the solicitation is issued. No questions will be accepted before that time or in response to this notice.
