- Presolicitation Notice The Social Security Administration (SSA) headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland has a requirement for a Contractor to provide maintenance services on the SSA Northeastern Program Service Center. The Contractor shall provide all necessary maintenance and customer support services associated with the Government-owned Intecom E telephone system as described in the attached Addendum B, Description of Supplies and Services / Statement of Work. The system is located at the Social Security Administration Northeastern Program Service Center in Jamaica, New York. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811213. The size standard for this NAICS code is $6.5 million. The SSA anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract for this effort. The period of performance will be for one year (12 months in duration) with three (3) 12-month option periods, if exercised. This requirement will be procured utilizing procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about May 20, 2008, with proposals due on June 19, 2008. The RFP will be issued under solicitation number SSA-RFP-08-1060. The solicitation and any related documents for this procurement will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Requests for hard copies of this RFP will not acknowledged, and the RFP will not be mailed.
