- SYNOPSIS US Army CECOM - Life Cycle Management Command, Acquisition Center-Washington, 2461 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22331-0700 The Field Deployable Environmental Control Units (FDECUs) Contact Ms. Martha Womack, Contract Specialist (703) 325-3355/Mrs. Rosetta Wisdom-Russell, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-1717 The United States Army, CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC), intends to negotiate a sole source award with Nordic Air, located at 5455 N. River Road W, Geneve OH 44041-9315 for twenty-four Field Deployable Environmental Control Units (FDECUs) with an Option to procure up to thirty more units to support fielding of the All Source Analysis System (ASAS) Analysis Control Element (ACE) for troops deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom (OIF/OEF). The NAICS code is 334419, and the description is as follows: 60,000 BTU Air Conditioners, 208V, 50/60 Hz, R-22. Weight shall not exceed 600 lbs. The order will be issued under a General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule (GSA FSS) Firm Fixed Priced Delivery Order and will be funded with Other Procurement, Army (OPA) Funds. This action will be awarded in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The resulting contract will be on a Firm Fixed Price basis with a basic period of performance of twelve months plus one Option year. The Government intends to award this effort to the current contractor Nordic Air Any updates to this synopsis will be posted to the FedBizOpps website A formal solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued for this procurement. However, any offeror that may be capable of meeting the requirements described herein may submit a response no later than 12:00p.m. EST., 28 May 2008 for consideration. A determination not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
