- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, El Reno, Oklahoma, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 50703-0041-8, for the requirement of QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE - MEAT. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424470, which contains a size standard of number of employees not to exceed 100 employees. Offers will be FOB destination with delivery beginning July 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008. Deliveries will be made to Federal Correctional Institution, 4205 Highway 66 West, El Reno, OK 73036, in accordance with the delivery schedule contained in the solicitation. The contract type will be firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance and price will be considered with prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 23, 2008, and will be posted to the General Services Administation's Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be made available. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 9, 2008. Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representation and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at orca.bpn.gov. Faith-based organizations and Community-based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
