- SYNOPSIS: Provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment for the repairs of Station at U.S. Coast Guard Georgetown, SC consisting but not limited to the following. A.Provide seven thru wall PTAC heat pump units at all berthing spaces to replace existing 4-pipe FCU’s (chilled water/hot water Fan Coil Units) located in attic. B.Remove existing air-cooled chilled water and hydronic hot water systems used for space heating and cooling. a.Remove chiller and all associated pipes and controls. b.Remove chilled water pumps, hydronic hot water pumps, expansion tanks, air separators, and associated pipes. c.Remove hydronic boiler, and flue, cap fuel and cap flue penetration at roof. C.Provide (furnish and install) new cooling heating equipment. a.In Galley, replace existing three chilled water FCU-s located in attic with split direct expansion (DX.) air handling unit (AHU) and condensing unit (CU). Split system shall be complete with hot gas reheat coil for humidity control. b.In admin, replace existing seven chilled water FCU-s located in attic with ductless minisplit DX cassettes and CUs. c.On first floor replace existing five chilled water FCU-s located at ceiling with ductless minisplit DX cassettes and CUs. d.On first floor, add new thru wall at old pump room. D.Remove vent in electrical room and seal wall opening. E.Replace and repair attic insulation. F.Repair building envelope, walls, floors, ceiling, doors, and associated hardware. G.Add coffered ceiling and 2x2 layin ceiling in dining area. H.Provide new electrical systems. I.Replace existing 1 inch PCV potable water line serving 700 foot long (approximate) pier with 1 inch copper type L with Victaulic grooved fittings. J.Provide 1 hour separation between berthing and galley. K.The above list is not an all-inclusive list of all work. Comply with electronic documents Estimated construction price range is $500,000 and $1,000,000. Performance period is 180 calendar days. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2002 code is 236220. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipt of $31.0 million.
