- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment and supervision to provide electrical and lighting installation to protective aircraft sunshade covers at the 149 Fighter Wing, 108 Hensley street (parking ramp), Lackland AFB, TX 78236. The work shall be completed in strict accordance with the applicable Statement of Work (SOW) and drawings of proposed lighting structures. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Government intends to use NAICS 238210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $13 Million. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 to $250,000. The period of performance shall be 90 days. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded using Best Value evaluation criteria. The Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation is anticipated to be issued on May 23, 2008, and offers will be due on June 6, 2008, 12:00 PM CST. The solicitation will be available via this site ( https://www.fbo.gov ). Offerors are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor this website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments. All correspondence regarding the solicitation contents and/or general questions must be addressed in writing on the firm's letterhead, containing a point of contact (POC), the solicitation number, phone and fax number and MUST be emailed to the Contracting Officer at: michael.beltran@txkell.ang.af.mil. NO faxed and telephoned questions or requests for information will be responded to. You must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database to receive a Government contract award. You may register with the CCR at http://www.ccr.gov/. SITE VISIT: A site visit will be conducted on a Friday, May 23, 2008, 9:00 AM CST and that information is in the solicitation package. All interested offerors are encouraged to attend the site visit and will ONLY be available at this date/time aforementioned above. The Government reserves the right to use only the internet as notification of any amendments to this solicitation.
