- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Reconditioning 1.3 miles of gravel roadway including restoring ditch lines, placing approximately 1700 tons No. 4 stone, 700 tons GAB gravel, 40 tons rip rap, installing object markers, and erosion control measures. PROJECT LOCATION: Oconee Ranger District, Greene County, Georgia. From US Highway 276 turn north on County Road 194, Farmington Road. Travel north for 4.5 miles, and turn west at Trembling Bridge Road. It is marked as “Trimble Bridge Road” at the intersection with Hwy. 194. The project begins at the Forest Service property line, approximately 0.5 miles down the road. ESTIMATE COST RANGE: between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is open to any size business. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND DRAWINGS: The solicitation, AG-435H-S-08-0024 will be issued via FedBizOpps, as a request for quotes and will be available for downloading on or about June 5, 2008 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a contract, http://www.ccr.gov/
