Description

Snow Removal Service, B. H. Whipple Federal Building, 1 Federal Drive, Fort Snelling, MN 55111. This project involves the removal of ice and snow as required. All snow and ice shall be removed from entrances, steps, landings, sidewalks, driveways, plaza areas, roadways, parking areas, handicapped accessibility areas, evacuation pathways, and approaches. The successful contractor shall provide the management, supervision, manpower, equipment (including heavy equipment and snow shovels) to provide plowing and removal of snow and ice form the Fort Snelling Federal Building and Parking Garage. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561790 with size standard of $6.5 million. The anticipated start date for this contract will be October 1, 2008. The performance period is a three year base with two 1-year options. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about June 16, 2008. This procurement is open to all business concerns. This solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available via the internet only. No hard copies will be mailed. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://fedbizops.gov Contractors are responsible for downloading their own copies of this solicitation, amendments, and other documents related to this solicitation.
