- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC-SD) intends tosolicit and award a sole source contract to Mehl, Griffin, & Bartek Limited(MGB LTD), 1800 Diagonal Road, #600, Alexandria, VA 22314-2840, for thetechnical and engineering support for maritime interdiction that will includehardware and software development, testing, analysis, and training. Thecontract type will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) withCost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) pricing for a five (5) year base period. This is a Phase III follow-on effort to the existing Phase I and II effortunder contract number N66001-07-C-0005. A determination by the Government notto compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretionof the Government. No hard copy RFQ will be prepared or made available fordistribution. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other suppliesor services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not arequest for competitive proposals or quotes. All responsible sources maysubmit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall beconsidered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete theproposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within thediscretion of the Government. Information received will normally be consideredsolely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitiveprocurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541712,and the number of employees: 500. Central Contractor Registration is requiredfor all vendors doing business with Department of Defense. Information may befound at http://www.ccr.gov.
