- Description
- This is a notice of intent to issue a contract for personal and non-personal medical services required to form a Regional Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Response Team to provide support to U. S. Army medical units assigned to the Southeast Regional Medical Command (SERMC). The team will be based at Fort Benning Georgia, but will be required to travel to other facilities throughout the southeast to assist with soldier processing, screening and treatment. This acquisition will be a total 8(a) certifed small business set-aside. Only companies with current certifications will be considered for this competitive acquisition. CLIN 0001 - Medical Support for SERMC TBI Team, to include 1 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) General Practice, Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician, 1 FTE Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, 1 FTE Register Nurse - Case Manager, and 1 FTE Administrative Assistant. CLIN 0002 is for travel to support the teams mission as stated above. This contract may include incentives and reimbursement of relocation expenses to aid in recruiting prospective providers. The government intends to award a commercial firm fixed-price contract with performance incentives with a base period of performance of 15 July 2008 through 14 July 2009 with four annual options that could extend performance through 14 Jul 2013. All respopnsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. The request for proposal shall be posted to the FEBBIZOPS website on or about 21 March 2008.
