- USDA – The Kansas Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is requesting bids for grade stabilization repairs on Rock Creek in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for grade stabilization work along Rock Creek in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. The major items of work are: excavation and rock riprap. To comply with the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act this procurement is 100 percent set-aside for local business in the areas covered by the disaster declaration. The counties covered are as follows: Barton, Brown, Chase, Cherokee, Clay, Cloud, Comanche, Cowley, Dickinson, Doniphan, Douglas, Edwards, Ellsworth, Harper, Harvey, Jackson, Kingman, Kiowa, Leavenworth, Lincoln, Lyon, Marshall, McPherson, Morris, Nemaha, Osage, Osborne, Ottawa, Pawnee, Phillips, Pottawatomie, Pratt, Reno, Rice, Riley, Saline, Shawnee, Smith, Stafford, Sumner, Wabaunsee, and Washington. The performance time is 50 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. NRCS is issuing this solicitation only electronically.
