Description
1.Provides Information technology systems administrator functions for the Sells Service Unit/San Simon Health Center and Tucson Area IHS. 2.Provides Resource and Patient Management System, Electronic Health Record and VA Fileman application and operating system support for the Tucson Area IHS healthcare Delivery System. 3.Provides Resource and Patient Management System server management and support of area systems and applications. 4.Create standard operating procedures for RPMS, Electronic Health Record and VA Fileman problems and share updated solutions with IT staff to allow processing to resume and/or to improve processing operations 5.Provide support for the HHS Email and PC Client Email services. Assists with the implementation and adherence of the IT Security Program for IT systems in accordance with the Computer Security Act of 1987, and Internal Controls as outlined by FISMA, NIST, and in various OMB Circulars to safeguard the integrity of the data transmitted on the Local and wide area networks. 6.Performs application and systems management of infrastructure, office automation and telecommunications equipment for the Tucson Area to include the Sells Service Unit. 7.Operates and maintains the IT equipment inventory to determine the equipment level (quantity & quality) that is needed to support the Area Information systems. 8.Provides technical assistance to the Information Tech Specialists and other ADP systems users when requested for support and assists with problem resolutions by using documented SOP and Share Point capabilities. 9.Create and document Technical Procedures as it relates to the Tucson Area Indian Health Service technical and administrative processes and functions using Share Point to disseminate to IT Staff. 10.Test and verify system backup procedures as implemented are functional and reliable per requirements. Provide documentation on Share Point Server.
