- Description
- This acquisition is to support the sustainment and modernization of the aN/aLQ-131 ECM Pod Transmit Path applicable to the AN/ALQ-131(V) Block II Electronic Attack (EA) Pod. This is sole source to Northrop Grumman and will be an order placed against the Northrop Grumman corporate contract. The effort is in three phases and this is phase I. The objective is to correct deficiencies and improve the reliability and maintainability of and provide engineering services support for the AN/ALQ-131 Electronic Countermeasures Pod Systems, subsystems, software and support equipment. Phase I is a 12 month period of performance consisting of engineering services for EWASIF Support level of effort for Block II and engineering analysis/studies for operational deficiency requirements analysis, concurrent evaluation of technology concept /demo candidate capabilities, development of candidate capabilities integration strategy, update to MERC S/E study, development of support equipment (SE) design modernization strategy, and development of test plans, procedures and test criteria.
