Description

Keesler AFB, MS intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to University of South Alabama (USA), 380 Administration Building, Mobile, AL, to provide for the care and of laboratory animals at Keesler AFB MS. The period of performance for this contract is 01 Jul 08 through 30 Sep 08 with options to extend for a total of 21 months. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541940 with a small business size standard of $6,500,000.00. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Part 13.5. The solicitation will be posted electronically on or about 1 Jun 08. All interested parties must download the solicitation from http://www.eps.gov as hard copies are not available for mailing. All responsible sources within two (2) hours of Keesler AFB, MS may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. See Numbered Note 22.
