Description
NOTE: All items as well as all of the item’s components must be 100% U.S. Made out of 100% U.S. Materials. SPM1C108-X-0017 is being issued on an unrestricted basis for the manufacture and delivery of 5 different Men’s Military Wool Berets. Beret, Wool, Man’s, Army, Black w/Flashes MIN/MAX: 125,136/375,408 8405-01-088-7805(s) Beret, Wool, Man’s, Army, Rifle Green MIN/MAX: 2016/6048 8405-00-082-5640(s) Beret, Wool, Man’s, Army, Maroon MIN/MAX: 13,392/40,176 8405-01-105-0414(s) Beret, Wool, Man’s, Lined, AF, Blue, Enlisted MIN/MAX: 2160/6480 8405-01-453-8215(s) Beret, Wool, Man’s, Lined, AF, White MIN/MAX: 1152/3456 8405-01-252-5461(s) All of these Men’s Berets are manufactured to CR-PD-01-09 dated July 30, 2001. The applicable Pattern is dated April 25, 2008. There are no Options being solicited on this requirement. On the initial delivery order, 3 monthly deliveries will be required starting 120 days after award to Suffolk, VA and Travis, TX. GFM will be available on the Army Black Beret in the form of the Army Flash. All other materials must be contractor furnished. Limited Source Selection Procedures will be used. Technical Merit carries more weight in the award evaluation process than price. Offerors will need to submit detailed information on their Experience / past performance. All items as well as all of the item’s components must be 100% U.S. Made out of 100% U.S. Materials. A Hub -Zone Preference is included in this soicitation. Availability of solicitations: FAR 5.102(d) applies – This office does not issue solicitations or amendments in paper form. This Request for Quotations will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities Web page as a modification / attachment to this announcement within 15 days of this posting. Offerors will have approximately 15 days to respond to the request for proposals once it is posted. DSCP has developed a web-based system that allows manufacturers the ability to request specifications, patterns and drawings on our contracting page. To request technical data for DSCP Clothing and Textiles (DSCP C&T) solicitations, use the following link to the DSCP C&T Technical Data Repository area at http://www.dscp.dla.mil/Portal/sreqfrm.aspx The Berry Amendment applies to this acquisition. All end items must be manufactured in the US out of 100% domestic components. This is a commercial item and will be awarded using FAR 12 and FAR 13.5 Procedures
